This was a film choice fueled by margaritas and a desire to turn my brain off. I was pleasantly surprised that the film was not actually terrible and a colossal improvement on the first 47 meters down which really only went in one direction (hint: it is part of the title) I was impressed that the sharks were realistic looking and jumped out to eat people at the right moments. If you like Sharks, caves and teenagers who make poor life choices then this is the film for you!

47 Meters Down: Uncaged is one of the most overrated, averagely bland, horrifically empty, and worst movies to close the door on the 2020’s decade in 2020! While the predecessor only had minor problems with the writing and directing, the successor repeats itself yet again! Same formula of the first movie and while it still has the good saves, there’s no saving this from repetition! Generally mixed reception has praise for the elements, suspenseful tone, thrills, and the cast’s performances!!!
