Every bit as good as the hype. Genre-bending, outrageously funny, disturbing, and instantly iconic. The performances are stellar, it’s beautifully shot. How often does the actual best picture of the year win Best Picture??

Not the masterpiece I expected based on the hype but an entertaining movie nonetheless. Works on multiple levels as a drama about two families on opposite ends of the class spectrum in Korea. We can all identify with an aspect of the Kims vs the Parks but in general I never felt as enthralled as many seem to be by the film. It was essentially a Coen brothers film in Korean. See it for sure though

One of the most original films in a long time, great story that is executed to near perfection. How the film builds up slowly and gradually pulls you into the story, and once you figure out what is going on, you're hooked and with so many Korean films...the ending will smack you in the face.

This film has a strong first half, but then there’s a movie-breaking twist. Unfortunately, the twist completely flops and distracts from the main narrative. Everything else about the movie is perfect except for the writing of the second half. You also have to question whether the storytelling is sacrificed for the message.

PARASITE is one of the greatest films of the 21st century. It is an intricate story of the poor and rich class of South Korea. You never no what direction the film will take on its way to its mind bending conclusion. An instant classic.
