A terryfing look into new York in the 1970's. You can literally smell the stink of the streets, and you might begin to question your own sanity as you watch Travis buckle unravlel in front of your eyes. Essential viewing.

New York is often seen as the city of dreams, however this film paints a much different picture. Taxi Driver is a character driven film that explores deep inside the mind of Vietnam veteran who works the night shift as a taxi driver. The film’s hypnotic direction and ominous tone make this a truly one of a kind masterpiece. De Niro puts on a stellar performance as Travis Bickle and the film has enough hidden meanings to warrant a rewatch. Do not miss this one. Oh and were you talking to me?
