Three years into the Clone Wars, the Jedi rescue Palpatine from Count Dooku. As Obi-wan pursues a new threat, Anakin acts as a double agent between the Jedi Council and Palpatine and is lured into a sinister plan to rule the galaxy.

One of my favorite Star Wars movies. Along with the amazing fight scenes, the story telling is incredible. The use of politics make the movie more intellectual and thought provoking. For most people, this movie saved the prequels. To me, it was a perfect ending to the prequel trilogy.

The best of the prequels which isn't saying much to be honest. I didn't really like this film but it did bring things to a close. Missed opportunities in the entire trilogy was encapsulated by this movie. I actually think the whole thing should be redone.

The best of the star wars prequels,
which isn't saying much. Anakin and padmes relationship is still a drag, much of the CGI is over indulgent, and most of the dialogue is pretty bad. Still, it contains some of the best lightsaber duels commited to screen, and with all of its faults, it was the last star wars movie that felt like a proper star wars movie. Give me 1,000 revenge of the siths before 1 the last Jedi.

Revenge of the Sith has a satisfying enough ending, but the screenplay is still unfocused, the plot makes little sense, and George Lucas fails to direct this movie with any energy or excitement.

Revenge of the Sith is an overrated mess. Sorry, but 45 seconds of the iconic Darth Vader costume does not a classic make. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. The movie’s issues are numerous and well-documented.The acting is generally weak, but Ian McDiarmid is show-stopping as Palpatine. There’s a lot to hate here, but also a lot to appreciate. Say what you will about the Prequels, but George Lucas made the films he set out to make. Who can say the same?

A fitting end to the prequel films. Christensen is extremely underrated. Mcgregor’s Obi Wan steals the film.

This is another of my favorite films of the Star Wars franchise. Everything from Anakin’s tragic fall to the dark side to the birth of the Galactic Empire to the best lightsaber duels ever make this movie the best of the prequel trilogy.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is one of the most popular and very best movies of 2005 and it continues to explore the prequel story of the Star Wars to much more scarier grounds and thrilling action that also leads to twists you’ll never believe for your eyes to feast. Generally positive reception goes out to the direction, screenplay, visual effects, action sequences, and the performances (particularly McGregor, Portman, Christensen, McDiarmid, Oz, and Smits)! Force Still Strong!

I love this movie so much, it's my favorite Star Wars movie. I love Anakin's development throughout the prequels and how he tries to do anything to keep his wife from dying. The space battles and Lightsaber fights are magnificent. The music makes the movie so much better and it probably is the best soundtrack for a Star wars movie.

Revenge of the Sith is indeed the best of the prequels, but that does not excuse the fact that it suffers from the flaws Episodes I & II do. Same bad acting, dialogue, and directing, as well as far too many scenes where characters just talk and talk and talk. Above all else, it completely squanders Anakin’s turn to the Dark Side. Hayden Christensen’s awful acting and George Lucas’s painful writing and unforgivable directing took out any emotional impact it could have had. Episode III is only the best prequel by default.
