The dry humor and delivery of this won't be for everyone, but it does make for one hilarious and shocking film. It's a cautionary tale about the dangers of equating our self-worth with another person.

The Lobster is one of the very best movies of 2016 and quite possibly and actually one of the greatest independent movies ever made in the 2010’s decade! ONF’NG! This movie is so absurd, it’s so controversial in a few cases, and the different symbols used to see the actors/characters’ objectives is so unorthodoxic and painful, it’s so keeping me in my seat to keep watching! Widespread critical acclaim go to the direction, screenplay, themes, imagery, and the performances (particularly Farrell)!
