What is perhaps Mel Gibson’s greatest comeback, Hawksaw Ridge will go down as a classic. Andrew Garfield brilliantly portrays a Seventh-Day Adventist going into war without firing a single bullet. Gibson does not shy away from depicting the blood and guts of war. Mix this with a brilliant score and you have what is perhaps the greatest war film since 2008’s Rambo.

This isn't a bad movie so much as it's an uninteresting one. How much drama can you get out of a movie about a seemingly perfect guy?

A heart felt yet Horrifying biopic that left me on the edge of my seat every second by the realism and the depiction of the horrors of war. But also hopeful by the tale of a young man sticking to his beliefs against all the odds stacked against him . And becoming a American Hero truly inspiring .

Hacksaw Ridge shoots hard and blocks hard as one of the most popular and very best movies of 2016 and if I might say, one of the greatest war movies ever made to be set in World War II and a war biographical well done and made! The religious beliefs and bear arms themes explored in this action-packer not bought only the truth about Corporal Desmond Doss! Widespread critical acclaim go to the direction, screenplay, themes, battle sequences, and the performances (particularly Garfield)! ONE MORE!!

Hacksaw Ridge is one of the best war films ever and it remained one of the best movies of the 2010s. Andrew Garfield’s performance as Desmond Doss is a career highlight. Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving, and Vince Vaughn are great as well. The action is brutal, but directed and executed brilliantly. This film is incredible in every sense of the word!
