This classic film still totally holds up today, and the only thing preventing it from reaching a 10 in my book is because the Wiz is the perfect 10.

Not sure if there is anything else I can say about this that hasn't already been said. All I know is I remember watching this on repeat on VHS as a kid. If this is the first movie I ever saw, then I have it to thank for the passion that blossomed from that first viewing.

The Wizard of Oz is one of the most popular and very best movies of 1939 as well as one of the most iconic and imaginative movies ever made in the 1930’s and of all-time! It’s covers such an amazing space of comedy, drama, music, and fantasy all four in one perfect and beautiful basket to bask in the glory and fly through the rainbow in victory! Widespread critical acclaim go to the direction, story, adventurous tone, cinematography, visual effects, production value, and the cast’s performances!

Everybody must watch this film for at least once in there life. It’s a really beautiful story, with many interesting messages. To be the first musical ever, it’s trascendental to these days. It certainly made me laugh a lot and made me feel a bunch mor of emotions. Loved it!

I must have researched this movie a hundred times as a kid and even now I never get tired of it. This movie is excellent. A lot memorable music and the color just pops out at you. My favorite character is the wicked witch of the west. There's just something about villains that makes stories very intriguing. Don't take my word for it. Watch it and be amazed

It’s one of those films you have to see if you’re a movie person. The music, colours, story and adventure are iconic and its a great family film even though it was made at a time when you wont be seeing any black faces.

This is just a great film. A classic. I’m sure filmmakers have lots of thoughts on all of the devices used.

This movie is genuinely alright, considering the limited materials and programs the crew had in the late 1930s. There was no CGI or anything. But the background often looks like cardboard, and this movie will only be appealing to those who are into musicals. The plot, once you’ve watched once, gets boring and easy
