A retread of the first film. It respects the source material but does little to advance the lore. Far better than the 2016 film and with some good performances. The film comes alive when the old crew make an appearance.

Generally positive reception goes out to the direction, script, action, humor, visuals, and the cast performances (particularly of Rudd, Grace, and Wolfhard)! Who ya gonna call for a good time?!?
