A difficult film to judge given the death of Paul Walker mid-filming. Underwent massive rewrites and visual effects work to salvage his material and still make a functional film, which is all it really is. Seems to combine two villain plots which lead to an underused Jason Statham. The action now involves flying cars, crumbling buildings, an ambulance crashing into a drone (no, really), apparent superhuman abilities. The stakes are gone after the “bloody” Fast 6. Ending sequence is brilliant.
