Probably the apex of the Disney animations before the Pixar partnership. Great voicing and songs. Watched this so many times with my daughters I could probably recite the script. Fun, poignant, good vs evil, everything you need for a classic. Loved it.

A classic disney animated movie. One of the more emotional, and powerful stories told in the animated medium. The animation is breathtaking, and it features one of the all time great movie scores by Hanz Zimmer. Skip the live action remake, it's useless, watch this instead.

An absolute classic and delight! What else needs to be said about this film that has not already been said. Lion King takes a Shakespearian tale and transfroms it into an imaginative spectacle with great music and some of the best 2D animation of all time. If you have not seen this movie, why are you wasting your time reading this?

The King! The masterpiece of the Disney Animated films of all time, The Lion King teaches you so much on life, as young Simba learns from Mufasa (both as king, father, and king of the past) as the circle of life moves. A must watch for everyone.

An amazing story of Simba comming of age.Learning from his father Mufasa from a cub of how to rule the kingdom that will one day be his.The start of the movie with us following Mufasa is a much more enjoyable in my opinion and the movie does slow after the pivotal moment in the film.An amazing score again by Hans Zimmer with This Land being an amazing reoccurring theme. The scene with Simba looking to the sky is amazing!
