A modern day spaghetti western. Not Tarantino's best movie, but entertaining nonetheless. Has a great soundtrack, some ridiculous shootouts, and three stellar performances from DiCaprio, Waltz, and Samuel Jackson. Definitely worth watching.

A top 3 Tarantino film if not his greatest, and one of the best westerns ever made, with a riveting and righteous revenge fantasy. The level of detail is also just incredible.

One of Quentin's funniest films. Django Unchained is already a classic in it's own right, but thanks to another great performance by Christolph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio Django Unchained reaches heights that were not possible before. Jamie Foxx was the true Achilles heel of this film. It should have been Will Smith or Denzel Washington in the role of Django instead.

OMF’ngG! Django Unchained is a true and devoted spaghetti westerns that hits all the marks on the skull perfectly. Widespread and critical acclaim go out to Quentin Tarantino’s direction and screenplay (isn’t it obvious hahaha), humor, characters, and the performances (particularly Foxx, Waltz, DiCaprio, Jackson, and Washington). Even though the over usage of blood and gore made me mega gag, I was still enjoying every minute since pacing was timed perfectly. One of the very best movies of 2012!!

Quentin Tarantino knocked it out of the park again with this thrilling Western flick. The entire cast is fantastic, with powerhouse performances from Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington, and Samuel L. Jackson. And of course, Tarantino brings his signature stamp of over-the-top violence, all shot and choreographed beautifully. Django Unchained is a must-see picture!

Tarantino’s great western before Hateful Eight but more than that. This is Tarantino’s superhero film. This is what Black Panther should have been. Great genre mashup where western turned action adventure = myth. Genre blending at it’s finest. Mature filmmaking in moments. DiCaprio’s best performance as a memorable villain. Jamie Foxx in a role that suits him. Strong performance from Christoph Walts as always but Samuel Jackson ABSOLUTELY STEALS the SHOW. Definitely in Tarantino’s top 3 films

This Quentin Tarantino action western film is about a slave named Django Freeman, finds himself accompanying a German bounty hunter named Dr. Schultz. Their travels take them to a plantation owned by Calvin Candie a sadistic slave owner, where Django's long-lost wife is still a slave for Clalvin Candie. Enjoyable to watch, There are endless thrilling plot twists and turns with great action scenes and absolutely outstanding acting from Leo DiCaprio and Christopher Waltz. Highly recommend.
