I mean, I’m going to continue to watch whatever Robert Downey Jr. Is doing but... I might be a little bored with this franchise. 😬 I don’t know. Solid movie. Worth throwing on but I got nothing profound to say.

A great movie. Finally we get to see a team up superhero movie live. We all have a connection to most the characters and everyone loves the Avengers. Loki is a great villain, I rate it 10/10

The first mcu team up movie, and it's not bad. There was so much hype surrounding this movie at the time, much of it unwarranted, but it's a solid superhero movie. Nothing extraordinary, just ok.

If for no other reason that showing a slice of my childhood fantasies realised on the big screen with all the cast and crew taking the job seriously, this, to me, is perfect. Yes, there are better films out there, even in the MCU, but the fulfilled ambition alone was unheard of at the time with and visuals that could only be found in the deep recesses of my adolescent imagination.

The Avengers is one of the best movies to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie brings the heroes together in an effortless way that feels natural and fluid. The pacing of the movie is perfect and overall as the first hero team-up movie ever made, it laid the template for all future team-up hero movies to come.

The big team up movie that made all fans of comic books astounded! One of the best MCU movies to this day as it stands tall amongst the titans of marvel now. It has just enough humor and action that anyone ever needs with a superhero team up movie! The end credit scene made us all jump out if our seats as we knew that something special was coming.

The Avengers is one of the best movies of 2012 and one of the greatest superhero movies of the decade. This is exactly why Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is also the best starting point to the Infinity Saga! The stories and characters come all together as a well-balanced ensemble to create the biggest magic for the superhero genre. Widespread critical acclaim go out to the direction, screenplay, humor, visual effects, and performances (particularly Downey, Evans, Ruffalo, and Hulk).

I think the Marvel brand like with the comics continues to put due DC in terms of depth, investment and casting. Largely very pleased with this whole thing. They owe Downey Jr. Sole Credit for at least 20% of all of it. Incredible as that is.

First: Robert Downey Jr is it. I couldn’t image the film without him. There are bits that are ‘eh’ but overall, I thinks it’s a satisfying well made superhero film. Just gave it a second watch.

The Avengers shows the recruitment of the heroes that Nick Fury claims have the ability to defeat villains who put a threat to the Earth. This movie is hilarious as well as action packed with each character playing a major role. Tony Stark and Thor was we’re my favourite characters in this movie, the script was good, the costume designing could’ve been better (captains suit) but overall it’s a masterpiece from Joss Whedon

This film will forever remain in history as I would call it the begging of the ‘hero film era’. Everything about this movie is ICONIC. The director perfectly represented every hero in this film. I love conflict and the dynamic in the first half with all the heroes and eventually someones death who believed in the alliance is what brought them together. The action was EPIC and still rememberable till this day! This will FOREVER remain always in my top 3 mcu film no matter what. 10/10

It’s a classic superhero flick with some amazing action, but Jos Wheden’s direction did not do this film any Justice. For one, the characters almost exclusively speak in quips and exposition. Maybe it was to make the film as quotable as possible. I mean, it worked, but the dialogue comes off as incredibly forced. There are also a few distracting plot holes here and there. I won’t go into them, but they really took me out of the movie. It’s good, but it has too many distracting flaws.
