Beetlejuice is one of the most popular and very best movies of 1988 as well as one of the greatest movies ever made in the 1980’s decade and a perfect Halloween movie for the families to devour themselves with! It’s a wacky & fun ride through the house of horrors as each character in the film has a form of silliness to them and uses that to an advantage of keeping the story alive! Criminally Underrated. An icon of atmospheric visual filmmaking and even more so, elemental tribalistic archetypical direction and acting from the duo of Burton & Keaton who both overshoot their ambition in this,so we can believe the impossible when they break Hollywood with the juggernaut marketing event that later was Batman.Keaton is a powerhouse in this going against type and doing more for vocal acting in a live action film than anyone else except for him again with his vocals in Batman 89.
