My personal favorite Pixar movie, it’s a story of friendship, paternity, and corporate espionage. The animation isn’t as smooth as Monsters University, but the story is second to none and the imagination is peak Pixar.

What to say about Monsters Inc? Well.... it is and will always be one of the all-time greatest animated films ever created for the families. This is one of the greatest feel good stories that has helped successfully launched Pixar into the new era that would inspire future stories to be in such an amazing and authentic style visualized through beautiful and colorful animation as well acclaimed voice performances (particularly Goodman, Crystal, and Buscemi). There’s no Pixar without Monsters Inc.

Once again not very rewatchable. I loved this movie as a kid but don’t really anymore. I love the dynamic between Sulley and Mike. I love the monster designs. The “scare scenes” are probably my favorite parts

This is by far the funniest movie Pixar ever put out. John Goodman and Billy Crystal have excellent chemistry and play their characters masterfully. The movie has excellent world building and comedic pacing. Also the jazzy soundtrack is an absolute bop! The ending is the icing on the cake as it’s emotional and heartfelt. It makes me choke up every time. Nearly everything about this movie is perfect. Did I mention how funny it is? Cuz I can’t stress enough how funny it is.
